About Bill Schaff
Bill Schaff is one of the founders of the school and continues to serve on The Academy of Alameda’s Board of Directors. Bill previously served as an elected Board member for the Alameda Unified School District (AUSD). Bill is CEO and Chief Investment Officer for Phocas Financial Corp, an institutional asset management company that manages assets for state and local pension plans, corporate accounts, and mutual funds. He has served on the Boards of Lewis & Clark College, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, and various private companies.
