My name is Bailey Hardman, and I am an LA native who loves teaching, playing, and composing music. I teach Music (Band and Orchestra) at AoA and I have worked here for 7 years. My preferred pronouns are she/her/hers.
 
I received both my Bachelors in Music (Composition and Piano) and my Master of Arts in Teaching at the University of Southern California. I absolutely love film music (I originally went to college to become a film composer), and it's one of my favorite types of music to teach! A fun fact about me is that I love dance and circus arts. My favorite types of dance are ballet and modern, and my favorite circus arts are silks and contortion (I can bend into a pretzel)!
 
As an educator, it is my belief that a quality music education is a right, not a privilege. I have an immense amount of pride when it comes to the music program we've built here at AoA. Additionally, I love AoA's diversity and commitment to equity. Our focus on community building also makes it a really fun place to work!
